No Losses®

No Losses is our Carver 32 Aft Cabin cruiser. Cappy Rick, 1st Mate Mia, and Fender T. Dog lived aboard for a total of 8 days as we navigated the historic waters of the Erie Canal.

The timeline on this site takes us from west to east, but the photos and videos were taken during the entire trip.

Click the routes or labels in the map above to view our logs, photos, comments, and videos. Keep in mind that this isn't a guide book. We didn't list the literally thousands of sights and attractions that are found along the route. Instead, we wanted to try to convey what it's like to leave everything behind and live Life at 7 Miles per Hour.

This site is dedicated to my brothers Scott and Gary. Without their vast knowledge and invaluable help I wouldn't have a boat.

It was created for my boater friends who may want to live the Great American Escape Fantasy. For those who are hesitant because they would be traveling out of their comfort zones, remember that you're never more than two hours from home by car!

In the following pages, clicking on the photos will bring up larger versions. Clicking on the "Play Video" button will popup a playback window. I've also included GPS coordinates. Clicking on "Map" under the coordinates will open a new window with a Google map or satellite view.
